Background
The Hypestudio is a PR and media agency working with high-profile clients across entertainment, branding, and communications. While the agency had established strong industry credibility, its digital presence no longer reflected the calibre of clients it worked with.
The previous website felt outdated both visually and structurally. Poor performance, weak UX, inconsistent branding, and dated interaction design created friction in how the agency presented itself online. As a business operating in a premium, perception-driven category, the website needed to immediately communicate sophistication, credibility, and modernity.
The goal was not simply to redesign the website, but to reposition the agency digitally through a more premium, conversion-focused experience.
The Challenge
At the time of engagement, the website faced several major issues:
Outdated visual identity and design language
Slow website speed leading to lower trust and engagement
Old animations and dated interaction design
Weak mobile responsiveness
Confusing navigation and poor information hierarchy
No conversion-focused user flow
Weak CTA placement and enquiry optimization
Inconsistent visuals and typography
No meaningful SEO structure
No analytics tracking setup
The overall experience failed to reflect the premium nature of the agency’s positioning and high-profile clientele.
Objectives
The engagement focused on the following goals:
Modernize brand perception
Create a premium digital experience
Improve mobile usability and responsiveness
Increase enquiries and lead quality
Improve website speed and technical performance
Build a stronger SEO foundation
Improve trust, engagement, and credibility
What I Found
The core issue was that the website lacked both strategic structure and premium positioning.
The user journey felt fragmented, with no clear progression from discovery to enquiry. Navigation was confusing, hierarchy was weak, and the visual presentation lacked consistency. Important information was difficult to discover, and the site did not effectively communicate authority or trust.
From a technical perspective, slow loading speeds and outdated animations negatively affected the user experience, particularly on mobile devices. There was also no analytics infrastructure in place to properly track visitor behaviour or optimize performance.
Overall, the website functioned more like an outdated portfolio than a modern, conversion-focused agency platform.
Strategy
The strategy focused on rebuilding the website around four key pillars:
Premium Repositioning
Introduce a cleaner, more refined visual system aligned with luxury and high-profile brand positioning.
Conversion-Focused UX
Simplify navigation, improve user flow, and create clearer enquiry pathways.
Mobile-First Experience
Ensure the site felt polished, fast, and intuitive across all devices.
SEO & Performance Foundation
Improve technical structure, loading speed, discoverability, and long-term scalability.
Execution
The website was rebuilt in Webflow, replacing the older Wix-based setup to enable better flexibility, performance, and visual execution.
UI/UX & Website Structure
Redesigned homepage and overall information architecture
Simplified navigation and funnel flow
Improved content hierarchy and readability
Built clearer conversion-focused user journeys
Branding & Copy
Rewrote website copy to improve positioning and storytelling
Introduced a cleaner and more premium visual direction
Improved consistency across typography, layouts, and messaging
Performance & Mobile Optimization
Improved site speed and responsiveness
Optimized animations and interactions
Enhanced mobile usability across devices
Conversion Optimization
Improved CTA placement
Added stronger trust-building sections
Built landing pages designed around enquiries and lead generation
SEO & Analytics
Implemented SEO-friendly site structure
Added analytics setup and tracking infrastructure
Improved technical performance for discoverability and scalability
Results
Following the redesign and optimization work, the website showed measurable improvements across performance, engagement, and conversion metrics.
Key outcomes included:
Increased conversion rate and enquiry generation
Lower bounce rate across key landing pages
Improved engagement and longer average session duration
Stronger perceived premium positioning
Higher-quality inbound leads
Improved organic visibility through SEO optimization
Better mobile experience and usability
Increased time spent on site and improved user flow
The project successfully transformed the website from an outdated agency presence into a modern, premium, conversion-oriented digital platform.
Challenges During Execution
Several constraints had to be managed during the project:
Tight delivery timeline of approximately 45 days
Weak brand assets, with limited imagery initially available
Significant early-stage client indecision and iteration cycles
Mobile responsiveness challenges during rebuild
Platform limitations from the previous Wix setup, which required migration and restructuring within Webflow
Why This Strategy Worked
This project succeeded because the redesign was approached as both a branding and conversion challenge rather than a purely visual refresh.
By combining:
premium visual direction,
conversion-focused UX,
technical performance optimization,
SEO structure,
and stronger storytelling,
the website became significantly more effective both as a credibility asset and as a lead-generation platform.
The result was a digital experience that better reflected the quality, positioning, and clientele associated with The Hypestudio.
Hiring this team was the best decision ever.
